(The altitude meter of my wrist watch was not adjusted properly between Osh in Kyrgyzstan and Murgurb in Tajikistan. The altitudes on the titles were quite different from the indicated altitudes on a map.)
I went over a pass, which was 2406m high on map. Not so bad. But it was raining in the morning and I suffered a lot in the winding road which was mostly not paved, muddy and slippery. And my condition was not good at all.
On the way down, I lost my favorite stick against dogs. That was a shock. But I never felt like going back the muddy bumpy hill.
Daytime is getting shorter. It became dark though I hadn't reached much distance. I went on in the dim light.
I pitched my tent by the road side in a dark valley. There weren't so many cars going by. I thought it was OK. But I got a vistor at night. A police man. He looked into my tent and asked me some questions. It was no problem though, only formal questions. He said to me "Good night" friendly and left in the end.
