The strange feeling on my back is gone. I feel fine. I can move on tomorrow.
Actually I could have left this morning. But I got a chance to join a young cute Japanese woman for sightseeing! Why not to stay another day?
It's not so easy for a foreign female tourist to travel alone in Iran. She can easily be a target of curiosity since it's supposed to be odd behavior. It's better to have a male company, guide books say.
There is another sad fact. Some young Iranian guys tend to look down East-Asians. They come close all of a sudden on a street and start making fun of us, laughing at our faces. I've heard the same experience from other Japanese tourists, or from a Chinese-American guy. It's very obnoxious.
"Chin Chon Chan" has started since Tajikistan on my trip. However, I've heard it the most in Iran, unfortunately. I wonder why, while most of other people, especially aged people, are very polite, kind, nice and all. Will the good-old Iranian custom change in future? Or will those morons change their attitude when they're aged? I also wonder.
Anyway, I did my job as a watch dog today. We seemed to have been stuck in topics at the end of the day, but never mind that.
Enough exuses to my wife?
