I sent away my winter clothes by mail. They treated me Arabic coffee IN the post office. That was a nice surprise.
There are many "coffee shop"s in Oman. But their coffee is almost always Nescafe. They are more like snack bars, mostly with Indian food.
After the post office, I looked around the old souk or fortress in Nizwa, had big lunch, went to an internet cafe and spent long time. It was another relaxing day, or a lazy day.
I haven't moved much since I left Mascat, am still within 200km.
There was comfortable life on the beach side, shopping centers, restaurants, net-cafes, etc. To the contrary, there is nothing but a desert in where I'm going. It's getting hotter as I get closer there. After the desert, it's Yemen and northan Africa. Have I prepared enough?
I'm afraid I hasitated a little. But I shouldn't linger any longer.
Shit or get off the pot.
