Aden-Ad'Dali-Sanaa. The distance was less than 400km. But it took me 4 days.
The first half was hilly and tough. The second half was mostly flat. I could have arrived in Sanaa one day earlier, if police hadn't disturbed me.
A policecar started following me around as I entered a crowded town. The soldiers in it didn't let me stop at anywhere; no shop, no restaurant, no net cafe, and didn't allow anybody to come to talk to me. Awful.
Then they came up to me and told me that I should go to Sanaa by their car, with showing me a gesture of shooting. I refused, but had to compromise with them and checked in a hotel in the next big town (in order to avoid riding in dark?), although the time was still around noon and Sanaa was only 50~60km away.
One of the soldiers asked for money for "security service" at the end. "Is that what you wanted? No way!", I thought.
However, I couldn't fully deny the danger. There were so many men with guns in the town where I stayed. While I was out for shopping, a man on a truck all of a sudden started shooting in the air. I didn't know why. The distance was within 15m from me. I couldn't stop bending my body down, though people around didn't pay much attention to him. I didn't feel like going out again after that.
I didn't know. There was another suicide bombing in Sanaa on 19th. The target was again Koreans who came to Yemen to probe the first incident and families of the victims.
