31 May 2008, Kyoto

I reserved the cheapest shared room on a ferry to Pusan on 3 June, next Tuesday. I wanted to depart earlier on 2nd, but it was full with big groups.
The fare is 16000 yen so far. I stupidly misunderstood a travel agency as the ferry company on web, had to pay 1050 yen more.
Carrying a bicycle as it is, not as a hand luggage with being folded and covered, will be charged extra 4000 yen. But since I've got lots other big bags that I won't be able to take all on the boat at a time, they couldn't promise me that they wouldn't charge the 4000 yen even if I packed the bike which would require me tiresome work. Hm.

I'll stay in Kyoto two more nights. Move to Osaka on 2nd.
I'll arrive in Pusan on 4th.

I'll stay in the same guest house for the last night tonight. The old fashioned inn is unique, cheap, and people are nice. But a dormitory is still not really my place. I'm not a social type, especially now as I've stopped drinking after the traffic accident. (There are parties every night.)
Maybe I should stop being a monk.
