24 May 2009, Gondar, Ethiopia, 18627km

It was Sunday when I went to the castle, an old monument where kings used to live. Ruins. But the yard was lively.
There was a parade of wedding going on. The bride and groom walked elegantly ahead. Other attendants followed, clapping hands, some waving their arms, with some musicians playing ethnic strings.
Clap, clap, clap, clap. The beat was fast. Women's shrill yells echoed. And laughter.
They sometimes danced. Men hopping. Women shaking their bodies. Clap, clap, clap, clap. Yarrrrrrr...
I was fascinated.
Continuous honks of cars outside told another group was coming. One group after another. It was like a festival.

...well, I wanted to write something nice about Ethiopia.
