On 2nd June. The departure was again delayed another day, because I realized on 2nd in the morning that I wouldn't be able to prepare everything in a day. Besides it was raining.
On 3rd, I finally left Kyoto and moved to Osaka. It was an easy ride along river side which I used to go.
In the eveing after I arrived in Osaka, I had to run around so busily for last shopping, traveller's checks, winter clothes, rechargable batteries, spare tires... all those I could have bought much before, while I was in Tokyo and familar with shops, in cheaper prices.
On 4th, I was still busy. The port was farther than I thought, and the way around the port was complicated with overpasses and bridges. I missed the way and went to a domestic terminal when it was already the boarding time, gave up, caught a taxi to the international terminal, which actually turned to be very good because I could use my credit card to pay the fare. I'll be insured by the privilege of the card in the first three months during my oversea trip.
The passengers were perhaps 90% Korean, or more. Half of them were teenage boys of a school trip. They were quite active but not so badly noisy.
They seemed to be nice, polite, peaceful people. That was my first(?) impression to Koreans.
I celebrated my birthday in my small cabin with a cheap lunch box that I bought on the way to the terminal. I was still happy.
