It was windy all day. The east wind was so strong as I didn't have to pedal much but kept speed faster than 30km/h with my heavy bike while I was heading west.
Then there was a junction. Most of the cars were going south. I followed them first. Gee, I could hardly move straight! I soon gave up and went to west, which was a big mistake.
The way to the south was a round way via 敦煌 where I wanted to go to have a break for a couple of days. The way I took was going to 新疆 state straight. Again I didn't look at my map carefully.
The direction of the route I took changed to north after a while, and never changed to west again. I noticed my mistake, but didn't want to waste the distance that I'd gained.
The strong wind from the side continued for longer than 60km. There were wind generators along the route, on and on. Its slow movement was like waving to me under blue dusty sky. That irritated me at the end, as if they were fooling me.
The route then changed to a moutainious way. I finally came to another junction where I could go 敦煌 again. But that way is longer than the other, surely through the windy area again. I wondered a while. Should I go for the world regend? Well, not really. I don't like a crowded sightseeing place much anyway. I'll have a break in another place.
