8 Oct 2008, Naizatos Pass, Tajikistan, 8607km(72km/day)

My condition wasn't good yet. But I left Murgub late in the morning. My visa was available till 28th. I didn't want to waste any more days.
The pass ahead was very gradual. I didn't know when and where I reached to the top. But wind always blew right against me and that made the ride tough. It blew from west when I headed west, from south when I headed south.
The sky was covered with dark cloud. I saw white flakes blown in the air. Fog was covering the way where I just passed, as if somebody was closing curtains. The time was over. It made me feel rushing. But I was slow.
It was highland after the pass. The way didn't go down as I expected. It was getting darker and darker. Wind never stopped. What made me surprise was that there were a few groups of nomads and sheep still remained in that cold weather. They waved at me, and gave me relief.
The weather finally changed in sunset time. I saw the sun light and clear sky ahead, at where a ram skull was decorated on a post like a gate keeper.
A sacred scal. A different world. What kind of fortune would wait for me?
