It was the new year eve, for us. It was just an ordinary day for Iranians. They use a different calender. Their new year holidays are in March.
I walked around the city in the evening, to look for something nice to eat. But no, I didn't find any. Eating alone is not much fun anyway. I just went to a cheap restaurant near the guesthouse at the end. It was better than having a sandwich.
I spent the night with other guests in the guesthouse, chatted and had tea from two tea bags, for four of us. No booze of course. But I still had some fun with others, with stories like how much it would cost to buy booze in Iran. ($67 for one bottle of vodka! A gossip.)
