8 Jan 2009, Tehran, Iran

My bicycle is ready. I've got my visa extended. I should be ready to go. But I'm still lingering in Tehran.
I had to wait for some reasons. But now I feel myself getting lazy. I've been smoking since I came to Tehran, because of bad air or playing chess with others, I don't know. One thing for sure is I will regret as hell later.

The day before yesterday and yesterday were the most important religious holidays in Iran. Everything was closed.
It was interesting to see the event. I saw procession that people whipped themselves or hit their chests with their right hands to show their remorse of the death of a prophet. Lots of people gathered to see such activities around a bazaar nearby.
Besides, there were many places where you could get a lunch box for free! (I don't know why.) I got one. A big one and yummy! They didn't care about my face and just gave it to me. Islam is a generous religion.

I called the institute this morning. It was still closed! because it was Thursday before Friday, a weekend in Iran.
I'll have to wait till Saturday to know the answer if I could get the vaccination. That's too much. I think of leaving tomorrow, maybe.
