Dubai. It's such a modern international city. High buildings. Shopping centers. Lights. Signals. Everything shines.
No car honks. Drivers wait for you. It's just amazing after the countires I've been.
The traffic is awful though. Roads are just made for cars, and are like highway even in the middle of the city. Crossing them is sometimes impossible. It's scarely and tiresome to move around with a bicycle.
There are so many different races of people. Almost everybody speaks English. It seems that Arab people are rather minority. I feel relaxed, because I don't stand out.
There are many Indian restaurants (other ethnics as well). One meal is $3~4 in cheap one. Not so bad. And the taste is soooooo nice, after the days of sandwiches in Iran.
Accomodation is expensive! A bed in a dormitory in a youth hostel costs $30! Too much. Though the city is interesting for me, I should leave the city as soon as possible.
